Sloppy Joe Biscuit Casserole

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, onion, and bell pepper until the beef is browned and the vegetables are tender. Drain any excess fat.

Stir in ketchup, mustard, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Simmer the mixture for about 10 minutes until it thickens. Then, transfer it to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.

For the biscuits, in a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in milk just until moistened.

Drop biscuit dough by spoonfuls over the Sloppy Joe mixture in the dish.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.

Let the casserole cool slightly before serving.
