– 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese

– 1 package (8.5 oz) corn muffin mix

– 2 large eggs

– 1/2 cup milk

– 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

– 1/2 tsp garlic powder

– Salt and pepper to taste
