½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
1 ½ pounds (650g) chicken tenderloins (mini chicken fillets in the UK)

4 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
3 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce (or tamari sauce for gluten-free)
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
