Summer is just around the corner and spring is already here. However, as these lovely seasons begin, so do the insects, and soon enough, we can no longer escape their relentless invasions of our dwellings. Infestations of cockroaches and other pests tend to increase in proximity to warmer days. Why, though, do they decide to make summertime house calls? Actually, these bugs are busy at any time of year. But they’re most active in the spring and summer since that’s when their eggs hatch, which is usually in March or April. In pursuit of food, they go around the city, making their way through the warmest and most humid regions.
Garbage cans and the openings of plumbing fixtures including toilets, bidets, sinks, and showers are common places to find these bugs. While there are measures we may take to safeguard ourselves, preventing their invasion into our houses is not always easy. After making sure there is no food debris in the house, we need to seal off any plumbing entry points. Leaving the bag of food leftovers in the trash isn’t an option because we always have to clean up after cooking. Thankfully, we have a solution that we know will work to get rid of these pests. Because of its inherent repelling properties, it is a common sense choice.
