1. Begin by soaking the cod overnight to remove excess salt.
2. Cook the cod in water, but don’t discard the water afterward.
3. In the same water used for cooking the cod, add sliced potatoes and cabbage. This adds a delicious flavor to the veggies.
4. Shred the cooked cod and lightly sauté it with a bit of olive oil.
5. Now, assemble your salad on a platter in layers: start with the cooked potatoes, then add the shredded cod, sliced onion, butter lettuce or cabbage, boiled eggs (sliced or halved), more cod, and top it off with olives.
6. Drizzle some olive oil over the salad, sprinkle a bit of salt to taste, and it’s ready to be enjoyed!
