Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent roll dough in the baking dish.
Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and place it over the cream cheese mixture, pressing down gently to seal any perforations and cover the filling.
Pour the melted butter evenly over the top layer of crescent roll dough.
If desired, sprinkle cinnamon sugar mixture over the buttered crescent roll layer for added flavor.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and the cheesecake layer is set.
