First, mix the flour and salt together. Make a well in the center. Crumble the yeast into the well and add a little sugar and milk . Mix with some flour and let it rise for 15 minutes .
Then knead the remaining ingredients into a smooth dough (whisk the egg with some milk ). Let it rise for about an hour .
Next, put some oil in the mold and briefly roll the Buchteln in it, so they don’t stick together at the end. Let it rise again for 15-20 minutes . Bake in a preheated oven at 210°C (410°F) for about 20-30 minutes .
